Who is Randy Pausch?
Randy Pausch was a professor of CS at CMU Pittsburgh; he knew that he had pancreatic cancer in September 2006 and he gave the last lecture on September / 18 / 2007 and it was tilted Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams.
What was he known for?
He co-authored a book titled The Last Lecture and his book is New York Times Best Selling.

Effective vs Efficient:
The work should be done more efficiently rather than effective.

Sometimes you have to say NO:
At some cases you have to reject somethings with a gentile no.

Use the time based on its kind:
Dead time use it for exercise, or things you don’t do your best on.
Creative time look for it and use it and spend it alone.

Communication is the key:
It needs to so specific, and give the objectives of the talk not only procedures

Who discovered the attack? How long has it been going on?
The Google post discovered the attack, 2 years long hacking campaign according to Google, however apple stated that it took only 2 months.

Who orchestrated the attacks? How do we know?
The Chinese officials placed spying apps on the Uighurs phones, we know from the investigations results that were conducted by the New York times and other big platforms.

What did the attack allow the attackers to do to a victim's phone?
Check the phones of the victims and read through their content, to look for anything in Arabic or recordings of the Quran. and spy-over the way that they use their phones.

On a technical level, what did the attack do? How did it do it?
The attack ​snoop all of the content, by checking if there is anything in the matching list of more than 73,000 items that embedded in the app. and the internet as a way to monitor them.

Why were the security flaws not patched earlier?
Because the first attack was concentrated on website that is related to the Uighur community.

1) Why and what is cloud computing?
The use of remote servers in a network which is hosted on the Internet to store, manage, and process data, the reason to use cloud computing is to have more efficacy and accessibility than a local server.

2) Is cloud computing a new technology? In other words, what is unique about cloud computing?
It is an method outside of the device to store data and deliver software.

3) What are the three major cloud service models, and which service model would you use to run your simple python programs?
1- SaaS (Software as a Service).
2- IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service).
3- PaaS (Platform as a Service).
Paas would be helpful to use for Phyton.

4) What is the economic/business model of cloud computing?
The business models are build using cloud computing.

I t is a problem that has two answers it is either solvable or not (yes, or no).

Class P is the class that needs polynomial time to solve problems.
Class NP is the class that needs polynomial time to verify problems.

What is the intuitive meaning of the “P versus NP question”?
this question focuses on understanding if there is a problem that could be solved and verified in polynomial time.

are for us users to make the programing process easier.
2. How do we translate solutions to computer programs? What are the limitations?
Usingprograming languges, you don’t need to translate your code if it was in simple form (binary)
3. How many programming languages are there? What does this number tell you?
256, That proves the humans effort to give the user better experience.
Prof. Gianni's talk:
- Can you give both an operational and a philosophical definition of AI?
operational definition is a type of intelligent system designed for real-world applications, particularly at commercial scale.
the philosophical position that human minds are, in essence, computer programs.
- Can you name at least three different techniques or sub-fields of AI?
Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Evolutionary Computation.
- AI has been around since about 70 years so far. Why is it booming right now?
Artificial intelligence is developing faster than we think, and speeding up exponentially. Robots are definitely going to take our job.
- Can you name at least three application sectors where robots are being largely employed? What are the reasons?
Drivers, Astronauts, Soldiers, Surgeons.
- Can you identify three potential challenges for a wheeled autonomous robot that would perform a 24h surveillance task in a large facility?
Running out of charge, Kicking the wrong people and allowing the wrong people to enter, the robot might not be able to go upstairs.
